Hi all! I'm having a panic!

Postby Enigma_82 » 17 Sep 2009 23:12

Hello there!

I found this forum today after a very funny link on the TA website to the issues with loos and the "mystery hose"... i did laugh lots!

I am having a slight panic tbh. My partner and i have booked a holiday to Icmeler, leaving next thurs eve, can't wait! However, we are staying at the Club Oylum Prestige hotel and have just had a look at some reviews to find myself scared s***less! :( Now, i'm not normally one to take much notice, but people seem to be saying lots of similar things on there and it is worrying me.

To put my mind at rest.... or not... has anyone been to this hotel in particular, or know of someone who has visited??

I'm not concerned about the amount of Russians, or even the room size in particular, we want to spend as much time in the sun as poss and venture out a fair bit for food/drinks elsewhere, but these reviews do put the panic in you and make you wonder! Hey, i'm only human!

Also, what sort of weather can we expect?

Any help will be much appreciated!

Ta! :D

Weather will be nice for you as it is cooling down quickly now.

Oylum is full of Russias who do not leave the hotel as they wont spend money anywhere.

You will enjoy it.

Hi I am sure if you are aiming to spend time on the beach, out and about and eating out away from the hotel you enjoy your holiday. After all it sounds as though you only need somewhere to sleep, so you will be fine. If the worst comes to the worst you could alway find somewhere else to stay. Most places now will do a week self catering in an apart for around £100 or less. Di.
