This hotel aside, you should never believe anything because someone arriving from the airport tired and grumpy could destroy the up to then excellent status of a hotel or apartment

As Dotty said me and Darren stayed there last year and i couldn't fault the place.

There are two pools - we stuck to the one at the back beside the bar which is open at night and to be honest most days we had place to ourselves.

The pool bar had good snack menu and the efes beers were chilled to perfection The guys in the hotel were all great and made us feel at home - i had read on line that unless you were a regular at the hotel they didn't treat you well - that was not the case. They looked after us from the very minute we arrived. They even lugged my suitcase up the stairs!!!!

The breakfast in the hotel was basic, although we normally made it down for coffee and then when we felt like eating we headed out for something. The pool bar had a huge selection on their snack menu.

All in all we had a pleasant stay there - we spent lazy days round the pool and then a few nights were spent at the bar.

We didn't have nasty smells in the room or anything either.

I went to see this Hotel while I was in Icmeler in June.

I was very impressed with how new and clean it was, and the staff were extremely helpful, even showed me one of their unoccupied rooms, and let me take photos to show my friend who is coming with me in August.

It's in a perfect location too.

4 weeks, 2 days and counting.........

We are staying at Ercanhan on 3rd to 17th Sept. We only leave Icmeler at approx 10pm on 17th, does anyone know if there is a courtesy room you can use to shower before you leave?
I am presuming that we will have to vacate our room at 12pm that day.

Hi

I have just come back from a week at this hotel..

It was an excellant hotel, very clean, friendly etc... and the location is perfect.

We were able to keep our room until 9pm on the day we were leaving for £15.

The Hotel manager, Murat, is very helpful - just need to ask and get it soarted asap and they you can relax knowing you don;t have to check out at midday.

Have a fantastic holiday - am sure you will

[me & my oh stayed at this hotel last September , the room on the 1st floor was alright & clean , the breakfast was terrible ( we ate breakfast out a lot , which was unfair after we had already paid for it ) people were getting stopped from taking water into their rooms ( because you did`nt buy it from the hotel ) the staff we found were friendly more so if you spent money there but as you say its just a place to rest your head

Hi

Have to say, before I went there this year I had read some horrendous reports about this hotel, terrible breakfast, not being to take food into your room etc....

We had no problems what so ever. We even walked through the bar eating a packet of crisps, and up to our room with no problem to finish them.

We had 2 glasses from the bar in our room too so that we could make our own drinks.

We got the impression, or maybe he told us, I can't remember, that the Hotel manager has been recently promoted to that position so maybe he is more relaxed than previous ones. When I asked him one evening where the nearest internet cafe was so that I could log on to Facebook, he went and got his laptop forme and let me use it on whislt sitting at the bar.

The breakfast was the same as I have had at other hotels : fresh bread, boiled egg, ham, cheese etc...... My only problem was as I do not drink tea or coffee, there was no cold drink, and I had to buy my own water.

The bar by the pool does a wide selection of snacks and what I had ( baked potato, omlette and scambled egg on toast ), were all perfectly cooked. And they are reasonably priced.

I would definatley stay at this hotel again, although my favourite is the Efes Inn, purley for the bathroom having a bath rather than a shower cubicle.

Thanks for that Barbara. It has put my mind at rest. Glad you had a nice holiday. I also like a bath but have never stayed anywhere in Icmeler where they have one.
We take our travel kettle when we stay bed & breakfast so we will be making our own drinks in our room. We have never had a problem doing this.

just got back from the Ercanhan hotel and thoroughly enjoyed it as I have written in my review.
We would certainly go back again , we never spent any time by the pool as we like the beach and also only had a few meals there but the staff were very nice with us, not surly if you did not spend all your time there or were not female aged 18 as was stated in some reviews i have read on other forums. Good hotel.
