Hello people!!!

Im new as you can see ---->

we've just boooked yesterday for Mitos Next Summer (long way off but counting) - First time to Turkey for all of us and first holiday for the Lil man and My OH.. so allll excitied and keep saying things like "oooh imgine the weather,the views, the beeeer!! etc"

ok ok ok rambling Questions!!!

Mitos apartments I can see from the map someone posted with the info on that its nice and central so yay... just a few things i would like to know if Possible??

Does it have???

* Cooker?
* Fridge?
* Washing Machine/Scrubbing board
* Kettle
* Toaster
* Shower that DOESNT remove layer of skin??
* safety deposit boxes somewhere??
* wondering the girl has requested top floor/sunny balcony/sea view how to get a sea view when its near the canal not the ocean??

oh and how are the general bars and restaraunts with Picky 8 year old boy out there, cos my lil one is a right brat about food and things to do??

music gets shut off around midnight
* do you all get kicked out then?
* can kids go anywhere with you?

God look at all them questions hmmm more yes yes I do...

Weather and walking

* Were going last week in july first week august is it hot hot hot??
* are the really goood places within walking distance (OH hates public transport)

other stufff

* Ive a Picky OH is it all turkish brands in supermarkets or european/english too??
* I know its been debated to death over tc/cash/cards whatever - but would the tc get the same exchange rate as english money or less??
* is it better to wait till were there to get things like toilteries and sun lotion

The biggie question
Flying home (glasgow) the flight isnt till 6am (leave mitos about 2am i think) on the 10th yet were kicked out the apartment 10am on the 9th .. what am i supposed to do with a grouchy child and OH for 16 hours and 3 cases and 3 bags?????????????????????????????????

Hi and welcome but you should be warned - once you have visited icmeler, you will be hooked like the rest of us!
I don't know about your apartments as we've not stayed there but in answer to some of your general questions ...
The music does go off at midnight but you will not be kicked out then. We have frequently found ourselves sitting in bars until the early hours chatting with staff, etc. In fact they have been some of the best times because that's when you get chance to chat to locals and get to know them a bit better. Children are always made especially welcome everywhere. As for being picky eaters - if you can't see what you fancy on a menu - just ask. I have found most restaurants fall over backwards to cater for your needs. We first used to go when our kids were younger and had no problems finding them something they would enjoy. As for the weather, yes, it will be very hot July/August. You will need plenty of sun cream and make sure you all drink lots of water. I find toiletries/sun cream can be a bit pricey in resort so usually bring it with me. That way it also lightens my suitcase a little on the way home to allow for bringing back some goodies. There is plenty to do in and around icmeler - call into the ICR office and they will give you the rundown on activities, trips, etc. As for the last day, most apartments will allow you to keep your room until later in the day for a small supplement or at least they have a courtesy room where you can shower & change ready for going home - just enquire when you arrive. Cases can be stored at the apartments - we've never had any problems with this. I can fully understand your excitement about your holiday - I used to only be able to get away once a year and used to spend all that time looking forward to the next holiday. Myself and daughter are off in 5 weeks time so we're getting excited about that! Anyway, enjoy your anticipation and your holiday when it comes round!

@ Lynn M Lol well im 6ft3 and other half is 6ft5 so I can sit on his shoulders to see that sea view loool - what am i going to do without my morning toast fix
Im guessing a laundry somewhere or i could just chuck OH and lil one in pool fully dressed!!! and thankkkiesss xx

@ Kelebek Soo lucky 333 days till we go and were all counting... and picky eaters my lil one is mental he will only eat food that is either green or blue this month thankies for all that general adviceeee xxx
