Depends on what you want to spend.
Anything on display outside is just cheap tin, and will break as soon as you get home, they are not worth the shop space in my opinion.
Some shops have some very good fakes inside, but be careful, as some are just the naff 5 for a tenner watches, but with better straps on.
If you are prepared to spend around 30-40 quid, then you will get something fairly decent but shop around, and you will see the quality differs from place to place.
The best shop I have found is just past the fish restaurant, that has the balcony upstairs (cant remember the name) it is nest door to a little supermarket. Also a couple of the ones in the underground market are good.
I've had a few watches at this price, and they have been very good, the Breitling copy I bought a few years ago, still looks brand new, and without careful inspection it looks exactly like the real thing, aside from the fact the chrono dials dont do anything.
I would say however though, that they are not everyday watches, more for dress, as another I bought last year, I decided to wear for work evereyday, lasted about 6 months, and the strap was fading, and the glass scratched very easily. It's now residing at the local council landfill site.
If you want to spend some decent money (£150 ish) then some shops have the good stuff under the counter (Don't they all, ha ha) These are like the real McCoy. Toughened glass, working chronos, absolutely identical to the real thing.
Not all shops sell them, I think due to the high price, and they only have 3 or 4 models in, but if there is a specific watch you are after, and they have it, it would be well worth the investment.
The only reason I didn't buy one last year when I found out about them, was that no where had the specific Omega watch I was looking for, and I wasn't going to spend £150 on something I wasn't 100% wanting.
