We normally go to one bar and stay there for the night, with quite a huge bill at the end  I think I could handle all inclusive

Yes fine if you want to stay put all night, but we like to wander and stop at different bars - everyone to their own I suppose. Does anyone which bars it is that are doing with all inclusive?

Dotty I cant for the life on me think what the bar/restaurant was called, however it was along the promenade next to Coco Beach and Kontes. They had the usual chalk board signs outside advertising.
Thanks for the replies-I had a feeling this would interest you!

I went to the Jungle Bar in July, it is based along the beach front, in front of the Aqua! For 35TL you got beautiful Turkish Meze, Salad bar and 300g of BBQ Meat of Fish of your choice, Plus Dessert and all you can drink! We had a fantastic night and thought the food was fabulous! The Atmosphere was beautiful and not at all loud and rowdy! I was in a Groups of 4 Adults! We had a 2 bottles of wine and a few beers between four! No body over drank! Personally if u go on holiday to get drunk and fall in and out of bars tourists will do that whether the drinks are included in the price of your meal or not!

Variety is the spice of life! Give it a try, because we found places like venice etc to be a lot rowdier than Jungle Bar!

Also 35TL a head was one of our dearest meals we had! So Its not really like bargain booze!

We ate at many restaurants during our stay:
Love boat
Waterfall
Venice
Majestic
Cavalier
Jungle Bar
Pop in
Coco Beach
Tiffanys
O Yes

We only went to Jungle bar once and it was a lovely experience! Please don't Judge before you have tried somewhere!

All countries have a rowdy resorts, thats just life:
Spain has Benidorm
Corfu has Kavos
Rhodes has Faliraki
etc etc

But it doesn't mean these places don't have quieter, beautiful resorts like icmeler! Turkey has its rowdy resorts Marmaris and Bodrum! Icmeler will stay beautiful! I believe the mayor is very aware that tourists don't want icmeler to be turned into an 18-30 resort!

Give Jungle bar a try

Where does 'all inclusive' leave the waiters who are paid 'commission only' anyway? Some of them get ripped off by the bar owners by not getting paid as it is!

Well if its an all inclusive bar or restaurant! They are paid salary! Also most british tip generously which where split at the end of the night! Also as Jungle bar is part of the Aqua Hotel I imagine the staff are treated very well!

any waiters I have spoken to in bars/restaurants are paid a salary so don't think this would affect them to be honest. obviously tips are extras for them as well.

the only staff i know that work on commission are say the entertainers who try to get you to come into the restaurant and do not work as waiters. i presume they would still be getting their commission on the basis of getting people in the restaurant as normal.

Hi Brighteyes

It must have been Jungle Bar then because its the same location as I described. As I said I never tried it but thats not because I disagreed-its just because I couldnt fit it in my fortnight!
I think the forum members are discussing if this becomes a regular occurance with lots of restaurants and bars and are not specifically talking about an individual case.
Pleased your enjoyed

As Chris has mentioned Eastenders nightclub is doing a special promotion on Friday nights. You pay on entry, get a card and can drink as much as you want till 4am.

There are two options - £30 includes cocktails and imported drinks (including red bull) or £20 which excludes cocktails and imported drinks.
