have checked in other monitors since although more than 50% seem to like the way it is, I thought the other 50% must have a legitimate point. As a result, the background color which came out very bright on some monitors is amended.

We hope, this change does well for you. Thanks to all for the useful feedback.

Love the content from the contributors/mods as susual but I'm afraid the colour scheme is not to my taste.

On the design front at the top of the page (on my desktop) almost all the screen real estate is taken up with large font ads and pics of associated websites which in my opinion do not justify in advertisement terms the space that they take up. I cannot access any forum content on any page without having to scroll down. Surely 99% of people who enter this forum will be from the main site where all the contact numbers/info are?

On balance I do not think that the web site reflects the actual professionalism of ICR.

Hope you see this as constructive and will not seek me out for a bashing in September? :D

Is it just me or does anyone else not like the new coloured forum pages, the colour is very distracting when you are reading posts, it's too bright. :(

Congrats to whoever did the site

On that note, I think we should give Rami a big thank you for bringing us the new site and new forum software.

I'd second that - the colour's been toned down slightly from it was first changed, but I certainly find the new-look site very easy to use, in particular the search facility. Well done!

One thing that we don't have on this new page is the ability to click on the last post and go striaght to it, use to like this, now have to go to page first then scroll down to last post, as I read the forum most days I don't want to keep scrolling, can this be put right? :) :)

George, you can click on the last page, you dont have to go to the first page.

Another thing I do like about the new site is - if you haven't been on the forum for a few days, and there are lots of new messages, I wont always have the time to read all of them straight away, and with the old site, once you closed it, it didnt show the messages you hadn't read. Now when I close it, I can still see all the unread messages the next time I log in.
