new mayor

just read a thread about the mayor in icmeler and was quiet supprised about all the new rules ect he has set and that icmeler is now worse so am asking anyone who has been there in the last month to help us with the the rules if they are actually in place or not

1.no more dancing in the bars by the workers or the public

2.beer cost has been set at a minium of £2 or 5 tlr

3.the market is now more or less closed

4.cost have gone through the roof in the resort

5.also the time from dalaman to icmeler is halved (good thing)

Have to say we didn't find things all that different, to be honest. Yes, q few bars had been closed for varying periods, but there was still dancing going on and beer prices weren't much different from last year.
The market was just the same as ever when we visited, although I believe it had been closed at one point.
Costs certainly hadn't gone through the roof - we didn't see much of a difference from last year really. Plenty of good deals to be had if you look around.
