I saw it when I was there 15th to 25th May , it looked almost ready to open then, just needed finishing touches, so maybe it is now.

I really hope this is'nt going to be the trend in Icmeler now ie opening English food shops, i go away for something different, we may as well all go to Spain if we just want to eat the same food that we have left at home.

If you want good fish and chips try the Jasmin resturaunt. They were a lot nicer from here than Harry Rams and the rest of their food is good as well.

PS. 90% of the food in Icmeler IS the same as we have in England..

I would disagree with that latter part, to be honest, mick - I would say that 90 per cent of the food we eat in Icmeler is completely different to what we have at home. But then again, we make a point of trying to eat local food when we are abroad rather than opting for stuff you can easily get at home.

Yep, same here !

The restaurants in town where I live comprise of Turkish, Thai, Chinese, Indian, Italian, American along with others.

It makes a nice change to go abroad for an English  :o

Cheers

It didn't look like our chippies in England, it still had a turkish look about it, open shop front, a bit like the rest of the kebab places and seemed to be selling all types of quick cooking food, (going by the pictures) but I'm sure somebody will have seen it fully finished by now and will let us know what it's like.

Think the place you are talking about was the old grocery shop, if so we were told it was to be a TFC when we were there in May. It had not opened when we left but it was obviously going to be some sort of fast food take away.

I certainly hope its not a KFC! Whats the point of going to Turkey and expecting 'English' restaurants all over the place? Better off just staying at home if thats the case. We go to Turkey for the people, the culture and something different.
