new dalaman airport

any news yet of when the new airport is opening?

we got back this morning and it is no where near finished

The new airport will be finished , at the end of June. I went to the airport yesterday and it is just the finishing touches outside that they are working on at present.

Thats good should make our arrivals and departures a lot nicer.Last year we flew with Air Atlanta and when we arrived at Dalaman had to queue for one and a half hours to get into the airport in blistering heat of 100 degrees with our luggage not even being able to get water after eventually got in put luggage through security to be told of a 24 hour delay then had to queue a further hour to get out of the airport.But we were rewarded withan extra day in Turkey in a beautifil resort called koycegeise!So im sure that will be a thing of the past when this new airport opens!!
