Doughnut sea rides

Postby neilandmike2009 » 27 Jun 2009 14:16

Going to icmeler again this year, last year we did a few sea activites such as the banana boats etc! We were wondering if anybody knows of any places we can do the doughnut rides this year? as we didnt see any last year.

We saw quite a few people doing the banana boat rides and the doughnuts (or ringos, as I think some folk call them) from the beach in Icmeler earlier this month.

The proper name for them is Ringos, it is 20 lira per person some girls in our apartments did it. When we were there the other week we did Parasailing it cost us 80 lira for us both to go up at once for about 10 minutes it was lovely to see Icmeler from so high up, next time we are going to go up seperate as you go much higher that is 50 lira per person to go up on your own.

that would be Ali I think/hope - lovely chap
I've not got the bottle to go on them, no matter what they are called
it's great hitching a ride in the boat though while the kids have a go

great to know what the going rate is though
last year, they were wanting extortionate rates to go on them and refused to haggle down
I totally understand that fuel prices in Turkey are [unbelievably] higher than at home
nonetheless, it was waaaaay too dear to go on them
