No E Tickets

Postby iluvicmeler » 22 Jun 2009 18:37

Hi all,
Flying out to paradise in 3 weeks and have just called Aegean about my e tickets as i had problems receiving the e mail last year. I was about to update the advisor on another e mail address to use but she informed me there will be no e tickets being issued (going green aparently) and i will just be sent a reminder e mail 7-10 days beforehand. She says all you need is passports and booking ref number to check in......is this correct???

That's all we had last year and we managed to get there
Scarey though isn't it?!?!?!

Maybe others who've booked through Aegean/ICR and who've flown with Onur already this year will be able to confirm to put your mind at rest?
(And mine too to be honest!!)

Hi

We have booked through ICR - going with Onur and coming back with British Midland. I have received e-tickets via ICR.

This will be the first time we will be going with e-tickets so any advice from anyone who has used these would be muchly appreciated - just to put those who haven't's minds at ease - sorry got carried away, hope it all makes sense :?

More and more airlines are moving over to this kind of system now. Most times, that's all you need - your booking reference number and your passport. Some even have electronic check-in desks which scan your passport and your details come up on the screen.

I have received and forwarded guests e-tickets, for the coming month, but if in the future, the airlines do decide to scrap these, then I have all your booking reference numbers and will send them out nearer your flight dates.

It is imperitive that you inform me if your e-mail address has changed, from the time you booked your flights.
