Can't stand Raki, maybe with cherry juice but still not a big fan.

Love Efes, love Raki but raki mushes my brain too much  , I always behave stupid if I drink too much raki, so stick to Efes and just have the odd raki to take to the room as a night cap.

Im not a lager drinker but I loved the effes last year. I did drink raki and cherry last drink of the night before collapsing into bed, but on one night I drank raki neat with a seperate glass of water with a turkish barman, god knows how many I had but I was totally hammered. Mariachi is a lovely drink but comes in smaller bottle and was quite expensive.

I cant drink any kind of lager or beer at home, but with the warm sunshine, the cold iced glass - I love my Efes! Like a few others I do like a raki in the evening - usually after I've drunk too many Efes

My middle son brought a bottle back with him a couple of years ago and had a party with his mates - low and behold, he was drinking it straight and ran down a hill, put his hand up to stop himself running into a wall and broke his skephoid bone (think thats how you spell it). So a very valuable lesson he did learn

I'm an Efes girl, through and through, but the OH does enjoy the odd Raki or three :D , likes his with sprite, only thing is for some reason if we have a blow out on a Wednesday night, the week suddenly loses a day because we wake up and it's Friday :? , seriously anyone trying Raki for the first time please treat it with respect because if you dont it will get you.HA HA

Been there and done it, I couldn't stand up after a Raki session although my head felt Ok ans sober, but boy in the morning did I feel rough, that was in 2002 and I have drank it once since out of politeness at a business meal in Istanbul. I now stick to Efes and have no issues what so ever.
