day trip to Rhodes - Duty Free

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to bring more duty free back than allowed in Turkey if you buy it in Rhodes during the day trip. I heard you can do this as long as you keep your receipt as Greece is an EU country.

House hunting just now so need some cheaper drink for the house warming.

you are only allowed 1 litre I think by law but depends on what they are like on the day.

I have never had a problem and the last time I came through port customs I was sailing from that last Ouzo in Rhodes town and chinking off the bottles I had in the bags I was carrying
