im a bitter drinker, so when abroad i have to drink the local brew Greece Mythos so in Turkey it will be Effes to me its a larger so after a few days im fed up with it im full of burps, whats the raki like can it be mixed with water like ouzo, not prepared to pay the price for English beer and it doesnt taste the same, do they have Turkish whisky.

medbud i'm also a beer drinker, why don't you swap between the normal efes and the dark efes, you'll find that has more of a beer taste, as for the raki yes than can be mixed with water and IMO it's very similar to ouzo

got it wrong i think, do you mean there is a dark Effes that tastes more of a beer

Medbug they sell John Smiths smooth in lots of the bars in cans. Just waiting for the first ones to do English cider. Won't find it hard to have the Effes though then i KNOW i am on holiday :D :D :D
