Just to let you all know.

The rooms have all been refurbished since the last reviews.

Safe boxes are next to reception and not behind and there is now an elevator.

Yes it has been refurbished to a very high standard, I did not find the stairs steeps at all far from it. We have two kids 6 and 8 and they love it here, all the staff are great they really make you feel welcome, just watch out for the manager of the sports bar (if he is there this year) he is a little grumpy but apart from that I cannot say any bad comments about the Hotel, can't wait to get back there in August ICMELER here we come, counting the weeks down now.

It was fine 1st week as it was cool at night we actually had the blanket on the bed, but 2nd week it started to get hotter. The AC will be on in High Season.
