Welcome to ICR Mick and Donna

We are going back to Icmeler on 16 June, it will be our 8th time! Guess you can say we love it there! My kids are 9 and 10 so have been going since they were tots. They loved the jeep safari last year, going again this year. There is 2 waterparks in Marmaris, I think this keeps kids of all ages happy, even the adults too! I have never been to a restuarant that doesnt welcome kids either. They are greeted by name when the waiters/owners see them coming, especially at The Venice or Blacksea. Have a look about this forum for other good places to eat or drink, there are plenty of them. There is never a problems if the kids want to share an adult meal rather than have a kids meal either, so dont be afraid to ask. Nothing is too much bother for the Turkish people, they are so friendly.

Just out of interest, where are you staying, and most of all have a great holiday.

Thanks for that Tania. We are staying in the Bluestar Apartments. I can't find anything about them on the forum, so if you can tell us anything we would be grateful. Keep finding Bluestar Hotel and don't know if this anything to do with it, can you enlighten us????

My experience of Icmeler is that it's safe, welcoming and ... as everyone else has said ... beautiful. I would say if you go to Marmaris it gets very busy - and adult - the entertainment in Icmeler is more family friendly - it's more of a family place than Marmaris in my opinion. One tip - the markets are not to be missed, but they do get very busy and it's easy to get distracted so keep the kids by you. It's safe, just busy.
