Hi Allan
Welcome, its a bit of an open question your asking, are you going early or late April, it will be quiet, but the season is starting to open up as you get towards May. The weather can be very good and hot, but can be unpredictable, it also goes dark early and cool at nights.
Regards
Peli

Anyone going in April

Postby Thornbird » 06 Apr 2009 21:58

We are going on Friday.....weather can be a little unsettled in
April and quite cold at night....most restaurants start opening
around 20th..allthough several are open all year round...it is
usually very quiet, but we like it quiet.

can be very unpredictable at that time of year
some days can be lovely and in the mid to high 20's
but other days can be very overcast and rainy
its ur luck
we have been in april before and had lovely weather
and others time its not been nice at all
there will be some places open but not them all
the best time to go in april is near the end when everyone is ready for the new season to begin
hope this helps

Seeing as Zoe is going, it is only fair that I go with her!

As she said, we jet out on the 24th for a fortnight, and will also be our earliest visit of the year (always been beg-mid August on previous visits).

Reading osme of the threads, it should hopefully be quite decent in terms of weather and dining at our fave restaurants. Will be having my grandparents tag along with us this time also - they came to Icmeler abour 3/4 years ago, but visit Turkey 3/4 times each year and tending to end up in Side in recent years. Should be fun anyhow, and will make the most of it.. as always!

:D
