Hi, We had no problems last year, they asked us to switch off on take off and landing. There were about 4 people playing with DS's around where we were sitting.

Cheers John

You can use a DS when not in wirelesss mode, wireless mode is switched on automatically when picocat or multiplayer games are used, keep away from these and you should be OK.

See http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/system ... p#airplane

There have been cases where some airlines do not allow them.

Always use mine, you get the usual announcement when taxying to the runway to turn all electronic devices off. Once you reached cruising altitude you are fine to turn them back on apart from mobile phones.

Also you can get good games off the market for the DS. Look around but there was a guy there last year, you told him what games you wanted and he's put about 8 games on one catridge for you for 20 quid, they worked fine.
