#2 daughter's mates landed and had some too, cheeky monkeys fired off to the pub without washing up, but then again i did mention that you'd be popping in ha ha

Donna will only do the dishes all day long as long as she can smoke and as it was the only place you could smoke in the house and with all the windows open you now know why she was the resident dish washer.

Just read Donnas report from her trip and what a good time you all had. Ive been to Liverpool many many times but have never tased "scouse" so come on Mr. T share your recipe and method(I mean cooking) with the rest of us.

Hi Suffolk, don't know about John's version, but I made mine following the link earlier on in the thread - and blinkin good it was too!!!!
don't bank on Donna doing the dishes though, she cried off doing them for us

mind you, she's got bigger things on her plate now - busy testing the Vodka in Icmeler and making sure it's up to scratch for us all later in the year

Missed the link for the scouse, just finding my way around the Forum after a crash couse with Mrs Silverfox.

I do hope Donna leaves some vodka for the rest of us when we get to Icmeler this year as she does take quite a lot before she gets the flavour unlike me I only have to smell the cork and I am on my way

Thanks Fanny, I have the recipe, but I think I will have to wait until winter now to try it as I am still on the shakes, but only a few more weeks, so I should be on summer foods then, but this one will definitely be given a go winter 2009.
