Go see the lads at the M48 bar and let them know that I sent you and they will sort a drink or 2 for you

I've fancied trying a night out in Turunc, for a change , might try there meself, sounds good :D we stopped off there last year from a boat trip but we only got as far as the first bar on the left! it was hot and we were thirsty, can't remember what it was called though? are there a few to visit if we went for an evening? and what time do the dolmus stop back to icmeler?

After a few drinks at M48 you might like to try a meal at Pasha - lovely place run by lovely people.

I usually go on a Monday when it's market day, and then don't forget to call into the street cats shop on the way back :D

I spend quite a bit of time in Turunc. - heres my views. M48 is good but if you want to a bit of music later on try Walk In Bar and Habit Bar (which also has excellent football coverage).

For resturants my favourites are Cardak (on the marina) and Korfez (first one on the beach looking along from Cardak. For a great meal but much lower prices (but same high quality as everywhere else) try 'Cinar' in side street off the main road opposite the mosque - don't know how they manage to sell at the prices they do.

Generally all the resturants are excellent and only had one bad meal and that was out of season so put it down as a bad supply.

All the times we have been going to Icmeler we have never been outside the town, must remedy that this year.
So a couple of questions, if you stand on the beach facing the sea in Icmeler, which way is Turunc, and which way is Marmaris.
I alway think Marmaris is to the right and Turunc to the left, but I am probably wrong

Duffaire, It is the opposite to what you said,if you are standing on the beach in Icmeler looking out to the sea,Marmaris is to the left and Turunc is to the right. :)

We are aslo going to Turunc for a day this year on the water taxi. After a boat trip from hell in Ibiza a few years ago, we haven't been on a boat since so thought it was time we braved it again

Hi there, the times of the last Dolmus and last water taxi's depends on the time of year you are going. Always best to check out the times the day before you plan to go. A water taxi would be my preferance, wouldn't like to do the over the mountian trip in the dark, it is hair raising during the day I would be catatonic  doing it in the dark.

Sorry forgot to say that last year they were charging £20 taxi fare, if you fancy a full night why not see if you can get booked into a hotel, it can work out cheaper. Go to Turunc for the day first week of your hols and book a night there for your 2nd week. We did the reverse last year, it saves a lot of worry after a few Efes  .
