Booking for Oct 2009

I am looking to book AI in Marmaris palace hotel.For the 4 of us on oct 15 for 14 days is about£1700 which is an ok price.

I have been to Turunc and marmaris before but never been to turkey this late in the year.

What is the weather like and also are the trips/excursions etc still going on,and is it still quiet lively or will it be like a ghost town?
The kids are 12 and 15 so i want something for them to do cos if they are happy so are me and the wife.
