You have to go to Linekars-its all Motown and Disco Music. The atmosphere is always really good too! :D

Simply THE best type of music.... i still go to Butlins weekends to dance along to Soul and Mowtown. Tried Linekers but other than us only 8 other people so a bit quiet for us, but will try again in 17 sleeps time

hello all, have to say linekers was a great bar until the new DJ took over now you dont get a great deal of motown,he tends to play lots of 70,s music but very little motown, one night in there in june he announced that at 10,oclock it was motwn time,it was, till half past then back to same old same old,i grew up with motown so i like to think i know a little about it i dont think the DJ does

I suppose the DJ has to appeal to everyone - now me, I'd love a full night of Northern and Motown but my other half wouldnt so if he plays a bit of everything, chances are people will stay ... cant fault him for that.

He was good when we were there late August - not all Motown and Soul but enough to keep me going......................

Yeah, can't beat a bit of classic Motown. I'd much rather be listening to that rather than the Cha cha slide and waving napkins to the tune of Country roads ;)

This time were gonna get funky, funky, funky. Everybody clap your hands.............hahaha

One of my Icmeler virgins loves Motown so will call in in October. The plan is to circulate a bit so they don't think the same things going on everywhere
