Can anyone recommend a good jeweller out there :?: Am particularly looking for a gold star and crescent pendant to put on a gold chain.

I always go to Medusa Jewellers. They are located next door to Sylvias. Very friendly family run place - and very reasonable too.

Metin at Trust. Stand with your back to the webcam he is on the left as you look down the road about halfway along the run of jewellers shops there. He is passionate about his gold and particularly his diamonds and as the name implies you can trust him. We have had some beautiful pieces from him, some handmade in a day or two to your specific requirements. :)

We always use the Goldsmith rather than the Jewellers. He made a beautiful Welsh Dragon in Gold for my husband two years ago, and everybody that sees it thinks its out of this world. We walked into the shop and asked him if he could make a Dragon to put on a chain, and of course the answer was "yes, no problem", but unfortunately he had never seen a Welsh Dragon before, so he asked a friend of ours if he could take a digital photo of his tatoo which he had on his back as a copy, and asked us to return in two days to see the finished product.

When we returned two days later, we were amazed. It was absolutely fantastic, the detail was unbelievable. He had even managed to get teeth into the Dragon's mouth. My husband could not believe it. The Goldsmith has now kept the patent in his safe, just in case somebody else would like a Welsh Dragon.

We returned to see him again this year as I had celebrated my 50th birthday back in April and had kept my birthday money so that he could make something nice for me. He made the most beautiful ring, it has a light blue saphire with a diamond either side, and he made it in 18ct. gold. So, if you are thinking of something special, then pay the Goldsmith a visit.

Highly recommended

I would thoroughly recommend the Green Jewellers (michael) my husband had a diamond solitare made for my 40th birthday as a surprise, he paid around £2500.00 and the ring is worth about double that amount we had the ring valued on our return for insurance and verification purposes. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they operate a very quick professional service, it is a family run business which has been operating for many years, they also sell clothing in their Green clothing shop excellent value for money and very very good quality :D :D :D

There is a friendly Goldsmith and Jewellery repair shop a few shops along from the chill bar (underneath the ICR office) down the side street. He repaired my eternity ring put 2 new diamonds in it and strengthened it with a thicker band of gold all for £40 an absolute bargain, a really nice man as well. I was quoted between £80 and £150 at a few jewellers in Icmeler and have since had the ring checked out and they are good quality genuine diamonds he put in.

Also recommend Aquamarine, I've been going there a number of years. Also Ruby (Mustafa the owner used to be at aquamarine) If you want old jewelery melting down and remodeling Mustafa is very good.

We have been using Greenhouse jewellers for the past 6 years, Medhi the owner has become a very good friend and all the pieces he has made for us have been beautiful. We have several diamond rings, wedding rings, earrings, bracelets and a pendant, all of which he designed specifically for us. They are always worth about 3 times more than what we paid for them when we have had them valued at home and are of fantastic quality. We never buy any jewellery in the UK, no need when the quality is so good in Icmeler. Also, custom made items only take a couple of days to be made, wouldn't get that kind of service in the UK! Oh, and you also get friendly service, ice-cold drinks and a seat under the air-con!
