age related ?

After going to Turkey last year with family my friends son(17) and his girlfriend would like to go to Turkey end of September but have been told by travel agent that one of them needs to be 18. His girlfriend is 18 on 4 October but they really wanted go before then. Does anyone know of any company that would accept them. If they book a flight, which I think you only need to be 16 to travel alone, will they have any problems getting accommodation in Icmeler/Marmaris. Many thanks. Diane.

My son flew home on his own last year (aged 16) not all airlines will take bookings for this age but some do with no problems.
