Just a thought but (this maybe just me) the bbc weather forecast seems very unreliable, is there any way/chance that someone from ICR could put a daily weather report on here, temp conditions ect. just a thought some people walkin round on the web cam are in shorts n t shirts (seen some with shirts off) but some have big tops on, dead confusing it looks hot ????

I think the people in shorts and going topless (shirts off) must be tourists
and the people still in big coats are the locals because even though the temps are in the high eighties they still feel the chill.
Funny how we in britain at the slightest bit of sun want to discard our clothes and lay on that sunbed.

I lýve here and ý am stýll ýn trousers and long sleeves. Reason for that ýs ý dont want to acclýmatýse too soon - my parents were here last week and we must have looked very strange walkýng round together - me ýn jeans, mum half dressed for summer/half for wýnter and dad ýn shorts and no top! But ýf ý peak now what wýll ý do ýn august

It wont matter what you wear now Kath because if you intend to stay there all year then you will feel cold in late September believe me.

Tourists will be sweating in the evening but you will have a jacket on.
