Anybody back from Icmeler who flew from Glasgow Airport?

07 Jun 2008 18:21

can anyone help us? we're flying in 3 weeks on flight BD7469 from Glasgow. Has anyone been on this flight to Dalaman and give us any information on it? eg. is there much leg room, any in flight entertainment and do they sell food/snacks? We would be very grateful for any info. We origionally were flying with Onur Air, then XL and now British Midland - hopefully 3rd time lucky. Been checking Glasgow Airport site for weeks now and there doesn't seem to be any problem. Can't wait to go to Icmeler, it will be our 4th time - 20 days to go! Got the new clothes, money sorted, just have to send admin the rest of our balance and then wait till the 28th sooooooooo excited! Thanks in advance.

We're flying from Glasgow this Saturday with British Midland (originally supposed to be Onur too), so I'll let you know how it goes. Fingers crossed!

hi blondie
any info on the flights cheers

We flew there and back with British Midland (June 21/29) and it was absolutely fine. No inflight entertainment, leg room pretty average, hot meals in flight both ways and the usual trolley service. Certainly an improvement on Freebird, who we flew with last October.

Thanks thats put my mind a rest , just one more question how did you get a meal and is the luggage 20kg

if you there in october i will be buying you a drink

To be honest, I really wasn't expecting a meal on the plane, as we didn't get one in October when we flew with Freebird, but they just handed them out to everyone. And yes, the baggage allowance was 20kgs. In fact, on our return, the two women in front of us had their cases weighed at Dalaman and both were in excess of that, but neither were charged extra.
