the tent that covered the dolphin pen did not look very big but we could not have a close up as there was a guard on the gate

It's very sad that they have dressed this up as 'dolphinchildtherapy'. These magnificent marine mammals belong in the ocean.

hope they've got enough room though
So that makes it right that they capture highly intelligent wild animals, and keep them in enclosures, it's an utter disgrace

think you misunderstood me Robert
if disabled children can derive benefit from being with dolphins, in my book that's preferable for them being penned in for pure commercialism
you'll note that I also said I hope they've got plenty of room
am not aware of whether they were "captured" or rescued

May have been mentioned before but I have never known dolphins to be following boats out in the bay so I wonder if them appearing has something to do with the captive ones.
They do make noises and are highly inteligent so maybe the others have come to investigate a distress call.

don't know about that Admin
we saw a couple of dolphins [wild] swimming along the front of a boat briefly on the 5 bays trip in Sept 06 - we were near where the Aegaen meets the Med
we've also seen wild ones in Cornwall at the mouth of the Camel estuary
both times were just by chance it seems, and after all those poor creatures dying recently in Cornwall, maybe we'll never know
