Urgent help needed!

Postby cheriton » 03 Jun 2008 11:14

Hi all you icmerlites. Were in desperate need for your help if you can. Weve just been told today that our accomadation that we booked in september is no longer available. The only accomadation that ICR can offer us is at the Mete Appartments or the Green Mar. We have no knowledge of either of the appartments. Can anybody give us an insight to these, what they are like, where they are etc. We have to let them know tomorrow so your posts would be appreciated.
May I also mention that this is no fault of ICR and they are trying their hardest to help us out.

Hi cheriton, it all depends on do you want a quiet location on a side street or a place on a main street in the middle of the action. The Green Mar is opposite the Chef & Loveboat.

Mete Appartments

Postby teddybears » 03 Jun 2008 11:43

hi cheriton, me and our friends stayed at the Mete Appartments last year and are returning there this year again. you will have no problems there my friend as sabri & his family who run the bar (sadbastards club) will go out of there way to help you. it only has 9 appartments so it is a great wee place to chill-out and it is also just around the corner from the main street. all in all, we loved it and cant wait to go back on the 15th july. 8)

Thanks for the replies guys. From the pictures on the ICR website the pool looks quite small and there's ony about a dozen sunbeds around it. Can you tell me if there's enough sunbeds to go around for all to use when fully occupied? Also, are they also known as the Kleopatra Mete Appartments or is that another place.

Hi again, the Mete originally was known as Kleopatra 1, the Kleopatra 2 is up near the market & Club Tokmak all owned by the same family. The pool is rather small & not a lot of sunbeds but the Apt's are very good, only 9 of them. Sometimes can be a bit noisey if a few stay in the pool bar ( Sabri's )until the very early hours .

Hi Cheriton, we stayed at the Hotel Devamli last year and the Green Mar is right opposite, it looked very dingy and when we were in bed at night all we could hear was the T.V in reception blarring all night long. I would avoid this one if you can.

Hope it doesn't spoil ur holiday too much. :)

Sure is Cheriton, I haven't been a member long but wish I had found this forum before I went to Icmeler in the past...never mind 29 big sleeps till paradise. I'm staying at he Galeria Park...hope that's not a bad move!

Hope that info helped a bit - have a great time.

Just to let you know that last year the Greenmar had only a hanfull of guests and in fact was a bit rubbish.

This year very different and the rooms have all been refurbished and we have already have quite a few guests in there and some have already re booked
