plus when you book a package deal you have to go on the coach and make stops at all the other hotels......the first time we went to icmeler it took us absolutly ages to get from dalaman..as typically we were the last stop to get off and a stop off was made half way so people could buy food, drink or go to the toilet.....totally unecessary! booking with ICR is much better we think, as you just get stright in the cab and off you go, there in no time!
sorry i no this is not about flights but just thought i'd mention another downside of package holidays!

I mean people are sending me their new flight times everyday but I have told them to let me know 1 week before they are due to arrive as flights can be chaged anytime.
What do you think will happen to these flights that are there now which have either been filled or are nearly full.
I mean when they put on extra flights for people who decide to book in the next few months.
Will they change the times again to accommodate the new ones.
We will see.

Sorry John, yes you are right, there will be people on this flight who have booked package holidays, I guess i just wasn't thinking at the time, as this is the first time i have booked flight/ accommodation seperately and had so many changes.

Have booked flights and accommodation separately for past few years this is the 1st year we have had it changed. gone from night flight to morning flight on same day.

Hi seems like its every where the changing of our flight first time meant we lost a day then 2nd we gained a day now we are back on track flight times are good so heres hoping it stsys that way we go on the 5th of may and cant wait

We learnt our lesson on this one so now, if we do book a package hol, we arrange a private transfer - it's well worth it time and costwise esp if you book through ICR (just remember to let the reps know at each end)
