The Camel

Postby redrhino12 » 08 May 2008 20:42

I have been informed that the camel has took up residence outside of the Friends bar in the square waiting to give all the willing tourists a little ride.
Anyone ever been on it?

Ha ha,
The camel passed us whilst we having lunch in the Dream 3 Bells last year. Told the kids the camel doesn't do rides the bloke just takes it for a walk then uses the ladders to hop on and ride home.

Mean I know but they'd already cleaned me out for a quad biking trip that afternoon. :D

A waiter in a restaurant told us that the camel was delivering it's camel eggs to all the restaurants for breakfasts, when we saw it walking past, I was surprised at how many people in the bar believed him! mind you, I was in two minds myself, he was very convincing! Very funny!

Saw the camel nearly every day last year. Tried to get my 4 year old on but she was not having none of it. Is the camel called Ali Baba. Kids loved it so I might get them to have a go this year.

Camel

Postby Louise » 09 May 2008 21:08

I stay at my friends house icmeler every afternoon the camel would pass on its way home with that bell clanging.

That bag on its bum gives me the creeps.

Does the man who has the camel have anything to do with the horse in field opposite tom pizza place and romance bar.
