If you're looking for watches of the immitation type, far and away the best place is Endys,on the canal, same side as the Majestic, but almost down on the beach.Endy is the lovely guy with the ponytail.I have a watch from there that i bought 3yrs ago,and its still going now!!!!He never tries to rip you off,and the choice is fantastic.much better than the markets we have found, the watches from there we have found to our cost break even before you get them home.so if you're lookin for a trendy, cheap watch,go to Endys.

Hi there, hes sooo nice isnt he,we wouldnt go anywhere else but to him,I know all the styles are roughly the same, but his seem to be better quality than anywhere else.but its just the little things, like shortening your strap and giving spare batteries,he even gave ne a spare back cover that came off a watch i bought in Asda, and had lost,so couldnt wear the watch,I just happened to ask him did he sell them, and he asked me to bring the watch to him and he would see if he had any to fit,but he wouldnt take any money, bless him.I's recommend him to anybody.

Bought 5 watches off Endy this year, all gorgeous, especially the Christian Dior crystal ones, deffinatley got the WOW factor,VERY bling bling.
Also,I took a Breitling watch back to him that a friend had bought in May,and he had snapped the wind thingy on the side by being too rough with it(typical man),Endy sent it to a watchmaker for me,and had it fixed for free.such a nice guy he is,nothing is too much trouble :D

I bought a couple of watches from the canal stalls, they both still work 18 months later.

These are the blokes, posing with Mrs Tealeaf.

Not sure if they are the ones you're talking about or not.
