Passports

Just been checking about renewing one of my familys passport, it's £72.

Really annoyed me, just another way for this government to stiff the every day person. Is it any wonder I hate this country.

You hate this country because you have to pay for a passport :?:

Regarding passports I agree we do get stuffed here in the UK
but
were lucky we was in Tobago they have to wait for people to die
Tobago is so poor they cannot afford to print new passports
they use deceased persons passports and enter new indentity details uck

It is for 10 years though, if you think of that it's only £7.20 a year ( I think)

I just had to renew mine for this year, and £72 is a lot to add on when you are booking a holiday. But as Colette says it does only work out £7.20 a year. Also make sure you renew in plenty of time you don't want to be paying extra to get it within a couple of weeks this can add up to £25 more so a total of £97.

That is all well and good, but when my wife and I recently got married, her passport was only 2 years old, and we were stiffed another 72 notes to change to her married name, so that is a total of 144 notes for 12 years of passportness.

Bunch of Dick Turpin Rob Dogs. Grrr!!!!
