1st Time in Turkey (Icmeler)

Postby LiverpoolLees » 01 Feb 2008 19:09

Hello everyone, new to this site but by looking at it i should find out everthing i need to know.
We are two families travelling with a 17yr old, 12 year old and twins age 6!
Looking for apartments that are quiet but not too far from restaurants and entertainment of a night and are also clean and modern.
Would also like a decent pool size as i believe it will be really hot in Jul/ Aug so we need somewhere to cool off!
I have been looking at booking flights seperately( any ideas of cheap flights would be welcome )and then accomodation and transfers through ICR.
Any advice would be great.

Thanks so much
:D

Hi,

I am sure you will not be disapointed with Icmeler - most people go back year after year. This year will be our 5th in Icmeler and 6th in Turkey, tried Olu Deniz on our second visit but didn't see the point in going somewhere else except Icmeler. Unfortunately I cannot give any advise on apartments as I go to the Marti Resort every year but most on the Icmeler site will be clean and well run. We fly from Scotland so get supplements but I am sure you can fly from Manchester at a decent rate but anytime I have looked at flights recently they were no cheaper than £230 per head.

Give John a phone and he will keep you right and the great thing is they have anoffice in the middle of town for any advise or tours etc.

We missed our flight home last year and they were very helpful and we didn't even book our flights with them. I would advise a taxi return to and from the airport to reduce the transfer time down

Hope this helps,

Archieb
