Hi stomp,
I returned last thursday.
I didnt get bit at all.
The wife got bit 3 times on her leg on our last day.
The grandson and daughter got bit several times,he on the back and arms about 8 times.
But she would insist on sleeping with the patio door open and leaving a light on after I had warned her several times.
Just take the normal precautions and you will be alright.

We went to Icmeler in August and it was the first time I've never been bitten. Never saw or heard one at all, itch free. They must have a holiday in August :D :D

I was there last week in August, first week in September i didn't get any bites, seen a few mossies on the balcony and seen people with bites. At night before i went out i put on aftersun with insect repellant in it on, it seemed to do the trick.

Just back on saturday morning and came home with 11 bites on one leg - never been biten this much ever on holiday so I'd say go prepared (mainly as the night I think the bites happened I had forgot to put on my skin so soft to prevent the bites damn!).

Also mum had a couple of bites on her arm which were not good her arm ended up swollen, and with a pain going up her arm, although after a visit to the chemist with advice of putting antiseptic cream on it and covering in a bandage healed up great in a couple of days.

Mozzies usually form a welcoming committee for me at Dalaman, but this year (16th Sept for 2 weeks- our usual fortnight) only got two bites! It was wonderful not having to scratch all the time
