Hi Brian. You're going to love Turkey. The latest info. we've got is that our flight is delayed by 1 and1/2 hours. Even longer to wait for a fag :( As regards trips, pop into the ICR offices and have a look. There are some good looking ones there. If you like swimming, the boat trips are a must. If you want to see the the untouristy bits, speak to the apartment/hotel owner. He'll have a cousin/brother etc. who is a taxi-driver. Negotiate a price for the day and you'll see bits no one else has seen! We always do this. It's a warm, fascinating country. If you know a bit about history etc. it's about the only country you can discuss it in. Lovely people, even when you get out of the tourist areas, where they have to be nice.

Brian, you may have 8 days left but it's even worse for us. We have to wait for you to get back before we know exactly how you proposed and what the outcome is!

All the very very best - hope you have a great holiday and if the lady says yes, it'll be a great reminder of your first visit. Aah

Hi, Brian. Sorry about the delay in replying. Shift-work and children dictate my time!! We now fly out at 2155hrs. Can't tell you who we're flying with because, I think, it's deemed as "advertising". I'm a scruffy old git(about 60), wearing jeans and a polo-shirt with an alligator as a logo. ( bought in Icmeler last year) If that rings a bell when you see me, feel free to say "Hi". As this is your 1st year in Turkey please try to get away from the "tourist" bit. This is a fascinating country

Hi Brian

How long will you be there for ? We fly out Oct 5th which will be the end of your 1st week. If your there for 2 weeks maybe you could pospone your engagement for the second one ? Any excuse for a good celebration !
