Pop In Restarant was closed for 3 days the week of the 23rd July, also two restaurants closed completely in the old village, all fixture and fittings removed I think these were closed because it was so quiet and they had no business.

Music down at 12?

Is that a new thing since last year, or was it just earlier than I thought it was?! :D

Music stopping at midnight was the same last year.

Obviously enjoying yourself too much to take any notice of what the time was :D

Yeah, maybe you're right!

Our hotel was just above F.R.I.E.N.D.S Bar (Park Metropol) and heard them singing along nearly every night!

Personally I think it's a good thing to turn it down at midnight, gives you chance to relax a little and get a decent few hours kip before more of the same the next day! ...Or am I just acting 60 years older than what I am?!

I like the fact music goes down at midnight especially that first night when you arrived at silly hour in the morning and all you want to do after wandering, eating, and drinking is sleep (earliest night on holiday to make sure we are capable for the next 2wks!).

Roll on 21st Sept!!!

Couple of places shut last Friday night!

The place at the end of the canal where the guys that does the turkish script sits, was shut for 3 days...and Pop-In was shut for a week, due to re-open this Friday!

It was weird not hearing any music up at that part of the town cause Pop-In was shut!

linekars

Postby jeffg » 19 Sep 2007 12:19

we spent most nights in linekars with ali and the boys ,on our last night they told us they were closed for the next 3 days due to oneof the lads stepping onto the pavement saying goodbye to someone and they got pulled bit severe i think, still great bar and music
cost me a fortune though with all the cocktails my wife was consuming,no money left for any efes for me
