Mete Apartments

Postby welshdoll3 » 07 Sep 2007 20:59

As you will probably be aware i was a bit aprehensive about going here as I had always stayed at my friends aparts and when she sold them I was gutted. Anyway we arrived about mid afternoon and met by the owner who charged us for air con and safety box (which is in the wardrobe) showed us to our room and off he went. We changed etc and went out to the bar spoke to the bar owner who only rents the bar area so has nothing to do with the aparts. Him his wife and 3yr old daughter were absolutely fab and would do anything for you. As they were running the bar they didn't mind if you cooked a 3 course meal in your room and ate it on your sun bed, which i found great not being hassled by any waiter trying to sell you food and drink etc. Sabri who runs the bar plays music that is very relaxing (not the usual banging kind). The maid was an angel and the room was cleaned daily and sheets and bedding every other day. I am hoping to go back next year and will be booking there if possible. It was such a relaxing holiday and as there was only 9 aparts you were able to chat with everyone. I am 5 4" and could stand in the pool which was also a bonus.

Glad it worked out for you Julie. We have booked these apartments for next year (12 of us!!) and its nice to know that you had a good time in them.
Are they as spacious as they look as they do look really quite big?

Thanks for the quick reply Diane. It must be a Diane thing that we are up early on a Saturday morning!!! Its good to hear that the pools not too deep as in all the places that we've stayed in Icmeler I have never been able to stand in them (I'm 5 ft 3) and I do like to be able to stand in the pool!! Looking forward to it, we are going out 13th Oct but we are staying at the Dermigolue (dont know if thats how you spell them) and it wil be our first time staying there but the reports look good for there.
Thanks again.

Thanks Welshdoll for that lovely review of the Mete appts, they sound great.
We got a brochure from ICR last week whilst in Icmeler and they are a really good price we were considering these appts for next year.
They seem to tick every box for us,
No hassle if you cook your own food, shallow end in the pool, only nine appts , friendly, helpful staff and not too far from the centre. :D
