Excursions and Trips - Recommendations Please!

Postby glitterbaby101 » 22 Aug 2007 17:04

Hiya,

Me and my boyfriend are coming out to Icmeler on Monday 27th Aug, and staying for one week. We really want to go on the Ephesus trip, what days does this go on? Has anyone been on this trip?

We would also like to take one other trip, which one would people recommend?? I quite fancy a boat trip, but there seem to be a few different ones. We are both in our early 20s and would like to get around a bit and see a few things and not just sunbathe!

Any advice/ideas would be appreciated! Thank you!

Nicky

Glitterbaby have a look on the home page - there's a link to excursions, there's a few here that are specific to ICR that you won't get from other tour operators or street sellers.

My favourite is the Dalyan trip - coach to Dalyan, a slow boat through the reeded Dalyan river with a mud bath with lunch and usually a stop off at a turkish delight or carpet factory on the way back. A bit of everything but a chilled out day.

We went to Ephesus a few years ago on a 2 day trip and it was brilliant. I would like to go again but it is quite a long way.
We visited Pamukalle , Cleopatras pool and the shrine of the Virgin Mary during this trip.
I posted some pics of Ephesus on the photo gallery a while ago.

Totally agree with helsby!
The Jeep Safari is the way to go :D
Fantastic day with plenty of laughs & good fun.
You see a different more traditional side of Turkey.
Would definetly recommend it! If you do go though,
wear old clothes that you aren't fussed about wearing
again! Very wet & dirty!

Enoy :D
