Tonights Party At Havana

Tracy just called me and it looks like the party is going the way we though it would but were hoping it wouldn't.

The only people who have turned up are Slats, Kazza and Subzi.

I hope they are having a good time anyway as I am sure the girls and Zaza will be looking after them but I can imagine the girls are feeling a bit embarrassed.

It seems that the people that are missing are Clare, Robert123, Weapon, Mr Tibbs and Courtneyjayne.

Besides letting down the members that have turned up hoping to meet everyone you are also letting down Zaza who has been reading this post since it started so was expecting more people.

We as Gene said have come to expect this over the many years of organising these parties but the Turkish people who expect you and are very trusting do not understand.

Once more please do not put your names down if you are not going to turn up

It is our last night on 19th, we leave tomorrow (13th) Manchester airport at 10.30pm and arrive at some ungodly hour in the morning on the 14th. Will the party be at Havannah,if so and if there is anybody else going we are game to show up, do we have to put our names down now or go to the ICR office on Tuesday and what is this about T-shirts ?

We will still be in Turkey on the 19th, so if we decide to turn up do we just book before hand at the ICR office? We fly out Monday 13th (PM).

That is a shame - Maybe the t-shirts or badges will be a reminder for the 19th and any others after that. Just wondering does ICR do anything to advertise these meet ups in resort? Maybe members would exchange mobile nos and remind each other? I expect that the anticipation of going is followed by the relaxing of being there - and not being online.

just to correct admin inıtial post HELSBY did turn up at the meet all be it a little late.....(but hay this is a holiday we are on i stayed till early hours and i for one let nobody down (gutted i missed slats tho) for the avoidence of doubt on thıs subject i also put my name down for the boat trip one of only several hey im unsure ıf namıng and shamıng ıs appropriate i understand the frustratıon but hold no issues wıth fellow members who could not make the meet let people chill im sure i,ll catch up wıth slats before monday............

Hi, just back from Icmeler last night Thanks admin for naming and shaming me on the forum for not turning up at the party on the 12th, but unfortunately our daughter was ill and was unable to get there. I apologise for not turning up but at the end of the day our daughter was ill.

As it seems a waste of time now to advertise these events there will be no more advertised on this forum.

People have made arrangements and also changed their own arrangements to cater for people who ask for these parties and they have not bothered turning up, and before the members who have already posted with their reasons for not coming post again this is not aimed at you at all.

This is not localised to this party and has happened on numerous occassions much to the annoyance of our regular members who always turn up.

From now on it will not be advertised and will be word of mouth with the regulars, solely to not disappoint the owners of the bars who go to great lengths to make the night special.
