Rhodes or Mete appartments please

16 Aug 2007 21:55

Looking to choose accomodation and can't choose between the Mete appartments and the Rhodes ones.

We are a couple looking for somewhere quiet but with a nice pool and no kids (if poss, just the noise!) and both of these look lovely.

We stayed at Captain Silvers this year and they were great but no hot water was a bit of a bummer for the g/f.

Icmeler is lovely and we have the flights booked so just need to pick our appartments...

We like a pool/decent view with a good balcony, can anyone help us choose or even suggest another, please?

Thanks :)

Don't kow the Mete - but I can say Rhodes sounds just what you're looking for. It's in Old Village and in a quiet but accessible part. Theres a supermarket on the corner - would take you 2 mins to get there from your room- and say another couple and you have restaurants and bars. It's about a 10-15min stroll into the centre or catch the dolmus by the supermarket.

The apartments have a brilliant pool with plenty of space around. There's several recommendations on the site - try searching for Rhodes and read them. Only bookable through ICR so if you've booked your flights, check out ICR transfers too.

Hope someone can give you a view of Mete so you can make your mind up.

We have stayed at both and have to say that Rhodes has the best pool and balcony. Its only a 10-15 minute walk into the town.We stayed there for 3 weeks in June and will be returning for 3 next year.Mete pool is nice but small.

Rhodes or Mete apartments

Never stayed at Mete but would definately recommend Rhodes. Clean, spacious apartments, massive balcony, great views. Like others have said, a nice quiet stroll into town of an evening with plenty of bars and restaurants close by if you'd rather not venture far. You would not be disappointed with these apartments.
