Seems to be hard to come by in Icmeler, well fresh stuff anyway.

the other half fancied king praws last year and it was about £10 for 4 in the Chef!

It has just been asked on the forum but is there a spit and sawdust type fresh fish restaurant where you get local food?

On a gullet cruise once we were served these sardine type things fresh from the fire!

Speak to Sebatian in the "2 Sisiters" next to Galleria Park Hotel (over the road from the Mersoy). We were told to go there in May.

My mum ordered Sea Bass the night before, he got it in the fish market next day, showed us it on arrival then cooked it there and then. She really enjoyed it, so that might be worth a try. You can always price it first and ask what you are paying for and how much you get for the money.

There were locals eating in there who had also pre ordered fresh fish so that was a good sign for us!

Bass and bream are not expensive in Icmeler and are cheaper than what you would pay in the UK.

It is shellfish that is on the expensive side and never order lobster or king prawns unless you get a price first
