Unfinished hotel.

Can anyone tell me the story behind the unfinished hotel on the seafront, the one you go past if you get a taxi boat from Icmeler to Turunc? I've been looking at it for years and wondering but have never met anyone who knew about it.

Do you mean the really big one in a bay by itself? I always wondered if this would ever be finished?!

I actually hoped i would see the finished results this year, as I havent been since 2005!

I seem to remember that the money ran out some 15 years ago according to some of the boat owners.It is certainly 6/7 years ago when we first saw it

Yes that's the one. I heard that the neighbours got the building work stopped because they didn't want it to be built but I don't know if it's true. A couple of years ago some friends of ours were on a boat trip which stopped in that bay, everyone swam to the beach and a man came out of the nearby house with some big dogs and chased them away and they all had to swim back to the boat. Anyone else know anything?

I heard that it was owned by 2 brothers who fell out and neither one would put anymore money into it to get it finished.
Not sure how true this is though.
