Current Exchange Rate?

Postby Erik The Viking » 11 Jul 2007 19:48

There used to be a guy who had the shop at the top of the canal who offered a very good exchange rate, does anyone know if he is still there?

If not where is the most reliable shop / bar to exchange?

We have £2,000 in £50 notes to take, are 50's accepted or should i take smaller notes?

We have only taken Lira before so am unsure of exchanging out there, Going Placed were giving 2.3 to the quid today....poor.

we were getting 2.58 / 2.57 from the supermarket opposite two sisters and 2.60 from Wonderboys Bar.
I would not take £50 notes my self they are a big enough problem in england ,but £10 and £20 notes are no prob and they were not all pristine condition that i had, also old and new £20 not a problem.
