Best Place For Turkish Bath

Postby Erik The Viking » 05 Jul 2007 16:24

We want to go in as a family and have the 'hot room' treatment and a good lather up and massage, my other half does not want to flash her boobs for anyone either, any suggestions as to the best place to go?

I went on my own last year as hubby didn't fancy it, I booked through ICR and they take you to the Mersoy, I went in with two girls, so there won't be a problem of you going in together. I was a but worried about the flashing aspect but went in with my bikini on and was treated with respect. Booked again for this year day after I arrive but my 13yr old wants to have a go this time too.

Mersoy turkish massage is very good. However I would advise to go between 2pm and 3pm not very busy that time of day. If you go, when busy you can wait along time for your oil massage. Last year we waited for 1 hour. We normally go second day of holiday helps towards a better tan. Then last day of your holidays.

Please try the turkish bath right infront of the Galleria hotel (over the road from the Mersoy) on the corner of the little side street.

It's run by a lovely turkish couple and it's were all the locals go. They treat you like royalty and make you so welcome even though they speak little english.

Me and my mum have been going for a few years and wouldn't miss it for the world. It's the first thing we do when we get there. Go late morning or mid afternoon when it's really quiet and you will probably be the only ones in there then.

£20 for a full turkish bath, skin scrub, hair wash and conditioner and face scrub followed by a full body massage will essential oils from the top of your head to the tip of your toes! The best massage I've ever had. It's total bliss and once tried I promise you will be back for more.
