Alinda 1 All Inclusive

Postby Norman » 27 May 2007 21:44

Hi all hope you can help. Just booked this hotel all inclusivive on teletext 129 for 7 nights flying from Birmingham on Thursday. Anybody know anything of it, I understand it is near to Captain Bullshits but never stopped there before. Can't wait to get back to Icmeler anyway.

I returned from a holiday at Alinda 1 a week ago. Me and my mum loved it in Icmeler, the hotel is quite nice, quite basic though. The pool has sunlight in the morning but then goes into the shad in the afternoon as the hotel shadows it, however we used this opportunity to go down to the beach!
Location is opposite the Blue Rainbow hotel, its about a 1 min walk to the beach, its a very central location.
The food is ok, were not fussy so we always ate in the hotel restaurant, its buffet style and is turkish food, so stewed vegetables, soup, a salad bar and various meat and potato dishes. Some people at the hotel werent so keen on the food, but as I say we werent fussy so quite enjoyed it. As drinks go, there are free drinks in the restaurant -beer, wine, soft drinks and water. There are also drinks at the pool bar, which is quite small but also offers vodka and gin.
The staff are all very friendly. Also there are some free sunbeds on the beach, look for the lilac beds and ask for Roma the beach boy (say Rebecca sent you - he might remember me!).
All in all we had a fantastic holiday, if there is anything else you want to know about Alinda 1 let me know.

Alinda All Inc

Postby Norman » 10 Jun 2007 10:34

Well we got back on Thursday and I must say the Alinda was adequate fairly basic but OK. Food was OK it didn't suit everone but we were fine with it. Only Turkish food and lots of salad. Drinks were gin, vodka, raki, beer or wine, and only upto 11o'clock. No snacks during the day, but what can you expect for £128. It was idealy situated being just opposite the Effes Inn, so managed to get round to catch up with all of our friends. Thanks for the help. All in all had a very good week, weather was fine except for one day when it rained and all flights were on time and not too full.
