Hi Scallyally! I have never driven in Icmeler, but they seem to be a bit wild on the road, so don't know how good an idea it would be, ha ha. They never pay attention to traffic lights and seem to use their horns a lot. It's an expedition on it's own trying to cross the road sometimes, ha ha!

Good Luck

Hi Scallyally :D ,

I have never driven in Icmeler as I have not been let loose with a driving license here in the UK, but when ever my dad goes he always hires a Jeep/Car either for the whole time or just a couple of days so that we can go out on adventures of our own!!!

In the summer months he hires a jeep because its more fun and when he went for Christmas he hired a Car as it was a bit cooler.

He says that their driving takes some getting used to but after a bit you get used to it. They do use their horns alot but mainly to let you know that they are going to over take you!!! He feels quite confident driving now and we sometimes go on a mission to Datca in the jeep.

He has a Turkish map of the Dalaman, Mugla, Marmaris, Icmeler area that he takes too but does not always follow it...but hey he does not follow it in the UK, so why would he follow in it in Turkey...Makes things more interesting though and you see some great scenery!!!! Have been to most of places you go to on the 5 bays boat trip in a jeep for a variation of a boat trip!!!! Dad feels confident enough to go to these places now!!!!

Sorry its a bit waffly....
