Travellers cheques

We had 150 euros in travellers chqs left last year, and when we tried to cash them in England they wanted loads of commission even though we had paid it when we bought them.
We decided to keep them until this year and the shop said that would be OK, has anyone else taken chqs from the year before?

did the same last year with sterling cheques changed them no problems

same here we took travellers cheques from the previous year no problems were able to change them.

We've taken sterling cheques year later. No problem. Wont entertain Euro ones as even in Menorca last year we had to pay commission whilst sterling were commission free
