Old Champion Bar

Is anythi happenin with the old Champion Bar site?

I saw a post on Facebook last month saying that Ozzy, who used to have Ozzy's bar on the road up past Romance towards the old village, was supposed to be taking over the old Champion bar and reopening it for this season.

Well heres hoping this is true, his restaurant used to be excellent back in the mid 2000's. We normally see him working around resort butdid not see him last year

he always remembers us and always been very friendly and welcoming

When we were there last summer the Champion Bar was closed as we were lead to believe the younger owner for the previous few years had passed away suddenly at the beginning of last year. It was always a place we enjoyed for a drink on our way back to our hotel. Always a friendly place.
