Hi haven't been to Icmeler since September 2013. Used to go at least once a year. I now have a terminal illness and doubt I will ever get back although I would love to. I often think about the people we met there and always look at the forum. No photos this year?Except for Johns early ones.
I would like to know how Vince is doing?Also Ozzie from the Dilhan? Messi from coco beach,Zaza?
I do miss it and love to hear about how things are going. My friend is in hisaronou just now and says its very quiet. I hope Icmeler is doing well.

Hi juju...sorry to hear about your illness, wishing you well. I did try to upload some photos along with my blog and reviews but couldn't get it to work for some reason. Might have a another go when I've got a spare moment.
Vince still has the Demircioglu and his restaurant and doing well. Messi is still at Coco Beach and hasn't lost his uncanny knack of remembering names and faces from years ago, and Zaza is now running the Canary Bar and Bistro on the canal.

Hi Julie

This is Brenda (and Bob) saying hello. So sorry to hear that you probably wont get back to Icmeler as you are so poorly. We went in June with my eldest daughter and our two grandsons. Had a fabulous holiday and stayed in the Alvaro for the first time. We chose that because we thought it would be better for the boys - bigger pool area with a slide and a play area.It was really nice but they wanted to be at Vinces every day so that's where we spent most of out time. Vince is doing well and there have been lots of changes to the bar. Ahmet is back again this year, also Mehmet and Sergan, so fantastic staff again.
It was quite quiet in the resort but that doesn't bother us, we like it like that. The changes make it a lot nicer in my opinion but i know that a lot of people don't agree. There aren't many places now where the waiters are up dancing but there are still some. Still so many fantastic places to eat out and the Efes was as good as ever.........especially in the LFC Bar where Erol and Gulsen are still fabulous hosts.

Hi Brenda and Bob and thanks for the news. Just looked at private messaging you but cant see any option.Glad to hear you have been to Icmeler with your family and that Vince is doing well.Tony was supposed to retire last year but has carried on , on a self employed basis , sometimes no days and sometimes 4 days a week! He is fine. My cancer has spread to my bones and I cant get insurance so the transfer time is too long , if I needed to get back in a hurry. Starting further chemo on July 22 which will take me to end of September...all being well! Everyone says I look very well still and mostly I get about fine.
