Staying at the Castle Apartments from 24th July , wondering where i can get the best Turkish breakfast in Icmeler, any recomendations?
The Castle aparts are up in the Old village near Jimmy's Asda shop.

In Icmeler itself, I would recommend the Deniz Kapisi down on the beachfront at the marina end. They do a gorgeous Turkish village breakfast, with home-made jams and preserves, locally-produced honey and so on. It is a feast which will keep you going all day - and you can even sit out on the jetty and enjoy the gorgeous views at the same time.

Another place for a great Turkish Breakhast is Asparan which is up in the hills at the back of Içmeler on the Datca Road. Their food is also home grown and bread freshly baked while you wait. It is a good place for a day out and has water slides, animals and nice walks within the park. There is no admission fee but they do expect that all food and drinks are purchased on the premises. I read on another forum that a party had paid 40tl for a return trip. Excellent price as the cheapest I have managed to get it was 60tl, which I considered excellent.

You can ring a taxi,or get one at the rank and ask for Asparan.Arrange the time with the driver to return and pick you up,and then stop off at Tommys bar. The food at Asparan is delicious and very reasonbly priced when you are in effect a captive audience. There is nothing else around.A very enjoyable, relaxing day out.

Sorry dans08 I should have said we went by taxi. We have found that some of the taxi drivers are sitting around not being used during the day and are willing to give you a good deal to have a fare and as inch1963 said just arrange pick up time for return with driver. We have used the same method to visit Turunc and got the taxi boat back.
